The first cinema room 4DX has just opened in France

Developed in South Korea, 4DX technology offers spectators a new experience. Immersed in the heart of the film, all their senses are stimulated. Completely free from the visual and auditory limits, they discover a cinema outside the screen and live an immersive cinematographic experience unique and unprecedented.

Located on the top floor of the commercial and leisure center Vill'Up at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in Paris, the Pathé La Villette is already the first cinema to propose an IMAX theater, the premiere of Paris in a cinema, and The sound Dolby Atmos to its spectators. A new stage is reached with the opening of the very first room 4DX in France!
Pathé La Villette's 4DX room is equipped with equipment combining seat movements with special sensory effects such as wind, rain, storm, fog, snow, smoke, odors and light. Perfect synchronization with the actions of the movie on screen.
Each 4DX chair is capable of creating fluid and dynamic movements as close as possible to the actions of the film by combining three movements with varying degrees of movement: upward and downward movement, oscillation (left to right) and Tilting (forward and backward) with, in addition, vibration and tickling effects.
The animation is specially choreographed in conjunction with the action that takes place on the screen. Thus, during a chase scene, the chairs tilt to simulate the suspension in the air and the spectators receive breaths of air to simulate the speed of the action.

The Pathé La Villette proposed to its opening "Logan", "Kong: Skull Island" as well as "Beauty and the Beast" in 4DX, followed by four other films, "Ghost in the Shell", "Fast & Furious 8" , "The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 "and" Pirates of the Caribbean: The Revenge of Salazar ".
