Unusual: Lactel embarks on virtual reality

What if we were actually cooking virtual reality? Much more funny, much more interactive, much less expensive and just as good? At the Laval Virtual trade show, three companies joined forces to create the VR application called "Mes crêpes Lactel". Indeed, Eon Reality, Atlantic Health (two companies Mayennaise) and Lactel wish to democratize the art of cooking and show you how one can make crêpes in virtual reality. Amusing, is not it?


Intended for all curious people to immerse themselves in a virtual environment, the playful and pedagogical interface was designed to facilitate the user's journey, step by step, from the search for the ingredients to the disposition of a garnish. Participants are thus led to prepare pancakes in a virtual kitchen: a recipe much appreciated by the French and in which milk is a major ingredient.
A marketing experience before anything else to make more fun an activity that might seem common, even banal. The application is indeed amusing and has made it possible to attract a wider audience to the stand of Lactel during the 19th edition of the virtual show Laval, dedicated to virtual reality.
La Réalité Virtuelle offers opportunities and Lactel saw this as a chance to opt for an innovative way of communication for an industry that is not really hype and that sometimes has trouble when it comes to marketing and communication. A first step towards the RV for this industrial giant therefore. One could imagine other ramifications of this technology.
For example it might be possible to visit the dairy farms, or even to milk a cow! Or one could also visit the factories of Lactel, observe chemical molecules to see how the processes of heating in Utlra High Temperature happens. These are just examples that we would like to see happen in the virtual reality market of course!

RV marketing is an inexpensive process that reaches an audience that would not initially be interested in the product but rather a virtual reality experience. A Consumer Approach Facilitated ... and Increasing Sales? RV is still a young technology and there is a lack of data on whether these operations are profitable. What is known however is that more and more companies are choosing to adopt it.
